At the School of the Strange, students come in all shapes, sizes, and magical forms.
Some are ghosts.
Some are goblins.

And then there is Ash Spark… the dragon.
Ash Spark may be smaller than most dragons from the ancient stories, but don’t let that fool you. With shimmering red and gold scales, bright glowing eyes, and tiny wings that flutter with excitement, Ash is one of the most energetic students at the school.
And sometimes…
One of the loudest.
Ash has a powerful dragon ability that he is still learning to control fire breath. When Ash gets excited, surprised, or even laughs too hard, a small burst of flames might suddenly appear.
This has caused a few unexpected problems in the past…
A burnt homework scroll.
A slightly singed classroom curtain.
And once, a toasted pile of library books.
But Ash is working hard to master his powers.
Because dragons are known to be brave, loyal, and fiercely protective, and Ash wants to live up to the legends of his kind.
Ash is part of the Myth Kids, a group of friends who are always exploring the secrets and hidden places of the School of the Strange.
His friends include:
Mia Harper – the human girl who can see spirits
Willow the Goblin Wizard – master of spells and ancient magic
Luna Howl – the brave werewolf protector
Pip the Cyclops – brilliant inventor and engineer
Ruby Tee – the adventurous mermaid
Vlad – the mysterious young vampire
and Casey the Ghost, who often helps guide them through the school’s hidden halls.
Ash might still be learning how to control his fiery powers, but his courage and loyalty make him an important part of the team.
