Mia Harper – The Girl Who Sees Spirits

Not every student at the School of the Strange was born into a magical world.

Some discover it by accident.

That’s exactly what happened to Mia Harper.

​

Mia looks like an ordinary human girl. She has curious eyes, a brave heart, and a mind full of questions. But Mia has something very rare a mysterious ability that even the teachers at the School of the Strange don’t fully understand.

Mia can see spirits.

​

Ghosts, wandering souls, and magical echoes from the past are all visible to her. Where others see empty hallways or quiet rooms, Mia often sees something more.

​

Sometimes it’s a friendly spirit trying to help.

Sometimes it’s a mystery waiting to be solved.

​

And sometimes… it’s a warning.

​

Before Mia arrived at the School of the Strange, she thought her strange visions meant something was wrong with her. No one else seemed to see the things she could see.

​

But everything changed the day she discovered the hidden gates to the school a place where being different isn’t something to hide.

​

It’s something to celebrate.

​

At the school, Mia met others like her students with incredible abilities and magical backgrounds. Soon she became part of a close group of friends known as the Myth Kids.

​

Her friends include:

Willow the Goblin Wizard master of ancient spells and secrets
Luna Howl the loyal and fearless werewolf
Pip the Cyclops the genius inventor and engineer
Ruby Tee the adventurous mermaid
Vlad the mysterious young vampire
Ash Spark the dragon with fiery surprises
and Casey the Ghost, one of the first spirits Mia ever spoke to at the school.

Because of Mia’s special gift, the group often relies on her when they encounter strange magic or forgotten places. Spirits that no one else can see sometimes hold the clues to ancient mysteries hidden within the school.

​

And Mia is the only one who can speak to them.

​

Even though Mia is human, her bravery, kindness, and determination make her one of the most important members of the Myth Kids.

​

Because sometimes the greatest magic of all…

​

Is simply believing in what others cannot see.
