But Pip the Cyclops has a different kind of magic.
Inventions.
Pip is known throughout the school as one of the most brilliant young minds anyone has ever met. With his single large eye always focused on the next big idea, Pip spends most of his time building strange machines, clever gadgets, and magical devices that help his friends solve problems.
His workshop is one of the busiest rooms in the school.
Inside you’ll find:
Whirring gears and glowing crystals.
Flying mechanical helpers.
Half-finished machines stacked on every table.
And sometimes…
Something that accidentally explodes.
Pip is curious about how everything works. If he finds a broken magical object, he will study it, take it apart, and rebuild it into something even better.
Need a lantern that never goes out? Pip can build it.
Need a machine that helps explore hidden tunnels? Pip is already designing one.
Need a dragon-proof fire extinguisher?
Well… Pip is currently working on that.
Pip is a proud member of the Myth Kids, a group of students who are always discovering the hidden mysteries of the School of the Strange.
His friends include:
Mia Harper – the human girl who can see spirits
Willow the Goblin Wizard – master of ancient magic and potions
Luna Howl – the brave and loyal werewolf
Ruby Tee – the adventurous mermaid

Whenever the group faces a strange puzzle or dangerous situation, Pip’s inventions often provide the solution.
